How we choose

Rankings come only from data we hold. Nobody pays to appear, and editorial notes are added separately.

  • Carp recorded at the venue (required)
  • A checked venue description from the venue's own website (required)
  • Day tickets available: +2
  • Day-ticket price published: +1
  • Facilities listed (toilets, parking, café and so on): +1 each, up to 3
  • Other species recorded: +1 each, up to 2

Not yet used, because we don't hold enough of it: maximum carp weight, stock levels, catches logged by tackl anglers.
