Angling club membership software
Most angling clubs still run memberships on a spreadsheet, a stack of paper forms and a treasurer chasing bank transfers every spring. Clubside moves the whole membership year onto members' phones, so joining, paying and renewing happen without the committee doing the paperwork.
Memberships the way your club already runs them
You set up each membership type your club offers — senior, junior, OAP, family, syndicate or anything else — with its own price and season. Members pick one, pay by card, and their membership is recorded straight away against their account. There is no form to retype and no cheque to bank.
Payments go to your club's own Stripe account and pay out to the club bank account. Tackl never holds the club's money.

Renewals without chasing
When the season comes round, members renew from the same app they used to join. The committee can see who has renewed and who has not, rather than working it out from bank statements. Lapsed members simply stop showing a valid card, which bailiffs see when they scan.
Waiting lists that stay fair
Popular waters and syndicates fill up. Clubside keeps applications and the waiting list in one place, in order, so when a place opens the committee knows exactly who is next. Members can see that they are on the list instead of emailing to ask.
The £1 handling fee, and how a club can cover it
Alongside the club's £7.99 a month (or £95.88 a year) subscription, Tackl charges a £1 handling fee per member per year, added when a member buys or renews a membership. It appears as its own line at checkout and on the receipt.
Clubs that would rather members paid nothing extra can prepay: the club buys a block of member credits in advance and each purchase or renewal uses one. The club dashboard shows how many credits are left and warns when they run low. If credits run out, members are charged the £1 again until the club tops up. Day tickets and club shop items never carry the handling fee.
A membership card on every phone
Every paid-up member gets a digital membership card with their photo and a rotating QR code. It replaces paper cards that get lost, lent out or left in the car, and it is what the bailiff scans on the bank.
