Tackl

A day ticket system for fisheries

Day-ticket fisheries lose money in small ways: an honesty box that comes up short, anglers who turn up when the lake is already full, and no record of who was actually on the bank. Clubside sells tickets online before anglers arrive and gives the bailiff a way to check every one.

Your tickets, your names, your prices

A fishery creates the tickets it actually sells. That might be a standard day ticket, a 24-hour ticket, a night ticket, a junior day or a two-rod and three-rod option. Each ticket has its own name, description and price, and can be switched on or off when you need to.

Tickets can also be given a start and end date, which suits seasonal tickets or a short summer offer.

Limits so the lake is not overcrowded

Each ticket can have a limited number available. Once they have gone, anglers cannot buy more, so you never have more rods on the bank than the water can take. Anglers choose the date they are fishing when they buy.

QR tickets checked on the bank

When an angler buys, the ticket goes onto their phone with a QR code. Bailiffs and owners scan it on the bank to confirm it is real and for the right day. You can see today's ticket holders at a glance, which is useful for safety as well as for checking.

No fee on day tickets

Clubside charges the fishery a flat £7.99 a month. There is no Tackl fee on day tickets for the angler or the fishery — only Stripe's normal card processing charge applies. Money goes to the fishery's own Stripe account.

Partner tackle shops

Local tackle shops can be set up as partners to sell your club memberships over the counter, so anglers who prefer to pay in person still can, and the sale is recorded in the same system.

Price

£7.99 a month or £95.88 a year for the club. £1 per member per year, added at renewal — or the club can prepay for all its members so members pay nothing extra. No fee on day tickets or club shop items.
